Matzo Meal Pancakes

Passover is a Jewish holiday that doesn't allow for fermented or leavened products to be eaten. For a tasty morning breakfast food or even a brunch try this recipe for matzo meal pancakes.














To make this tasty passover dish use
  • Three eggs
  • ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
  • One cup of cold water
  • One cup matzo meal
  • Oil for frying
  • Skillet

      Once you've gathered all of your ingredients,

      1. Beat three eggs, add ¼ teaspoon of salt, one cup cold water
      2. Add one cup matzo meal
      3. Mix well should have the texture of pancake batter
      4. Pour ¼ cup of batter in a skillet or on a griddle
      5. Fry until brown on each side
      6. Lay pancakes on paper towel to drain out most of the oil
      7. Serve hot, with honey

      Additional garnishes are chopped walnuts, maple syrup.
